Hal Dillon has extensive work experience in the media and software engineering industry. Hal started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Viacom and later worked their way up to various leadership positions within the company. At Viacom, they transformed and consolidated global software engineering for content, data, and international linear ad-sales. Hal also led the migration of content catalogs to Google Cloud Storage and introduced machine learning opportunities for automation and efficiency. Additionally, they implemented DevOps and automation practices to increase quality and time to market.
