Hamish Potter began their work experience in 2006 as a Technical Engineer at Toyota Material Handling UK. In 2008, they moved on to work as a Stress and Performance Engineer at Cummins Power Generation until 2009. Following that, they worked as a Stress and Performance Engineer at David Brown Gear Systems from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2020, they worked at Xtrac Ltd, where they held positions as a Design Analyst and Business Manager for F1. Currently, Hamish works as a Strategic Account Manager at CADFEM UK and Ireland Ltd, where they are responsible for selling ANSYS products and providing support, training, consultancy, and IT services to customers.
Hamish Potter attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a BSc Hons degree in Automotive Technology/Engineering. Prior to university, they studied at William Farr C of E Comprehensive Secondary School, where they obtained 11 GCSE's.
