Emmanuel Renard

Emmanuel Renard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and consultancy. Currently serving as Président at Caen Normandie Métropole since September 2024, Emmanuel also operates as an independent consultant at Transverse Conseil - SASU since July 2018. Academic roles include teaching positions at Sciences Po Rennes, Université de Caen, and IAE Caen, all of which commenced in September 2020. Additionally, Emmanuel holds the position of Vice President in charge of urban planning and land management at Caen la Mer, while being a municipal councillor in Ville de Caen since May 2020. Previous roles include Executive Director responsible for the Territory Pole at EDATER from August 2015 to July 2018, and founder and leader at ETHEIS Conseil from 1993 until September 2015. Emmanuel served as a municipal councillor in Hérouville Saint Clair from March 2008 to March 2014. Educational credentials include a DES in Law and Political Science from Université de Caen Normandie, earned between 1979 and 1984, and earlier education at Saint Martin de France from 1974 to 1978.
