John McGagh

John McGagh currently serves as a Communications Officer at Cafcass, having progressed through various roles within the organization since April 2017. Prior experience includes positions at Durham County Council as an Information Coordinator, and as a Field Interviewer at Morris Hargreaves McIntyre. Additionally, John held the role of Research & Communications Manager at Creativity, Culture and Education, where responsibilities included organizing training events and managing research for Creative Partnerships in Durham and Sunderland schools. Past roles also feature programming for the Durham Literature Festival and administrative support for writers at New Writing North. John holds a Master’s degree in Twentieth Century Literature and Film from Newcastle University, a Bachelor of Arts in English & History from Northumbria University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Literature from Université Côte d'Azur.
