Katherine Kearns

Katherine Kearns has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Katherine currently holds the position of CQV Engineer at CAI, which they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a QC External at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from March 2020 to October 2021. Before that, they were a Manufacturing BioTech Associate/CQV Engineer at Takeda from June 2019 to March 2020.

In 2016, Katherine worked as a Student Assistant at Queen's University Belfast. Katherine'sresponsibilities included assisting the Marketing Department in promoting university events, guiding international students through CV and interview skills, and providing information and promoting Queen's Sport facilities.

Katherine also gained experience as a Quality Assurance Validation Intern at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from June 2017 to July 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Counter Staff at GROUND ESPRESSO BARS LIMITED, where they provided excellent customer service and developed their communication and teamwork skills.

Katherine's earliest work experience was as a Retail Assistant at Dunnes Stores from September 2014 to January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for stock rotation, orders, deliveries, operating the till, and providing customer advice, which honed their organizational skills and sense of responsibility.

Katherine Kearns completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from Queen's University Belfast from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended St. Mary's Grammar School in Magherafelt from 2008 to 2015 for their high school education. Additionally, Katherine also completed an Upstream and Downstream Bioprocessing Course at NIBRT, although the exact start and end years for this course were not specified.
