Akihiko Sugiura

Akihiko Sugiura is a seasoned product research lead with extensive experience in product development and design across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Product Research Lead at Cairns Health since November 2017, Akihiko has successfully led the development of AI and sensor-based remote patient monitoring systems. Previous roles include Product Research Lead at Cairns Health, UX Designer at Tata Consultancy Services, Design Engineer at Panasonic USA, Product Designer at Tokyo Sinco Leather, and Digital 3D Modeler at Lion Office Products. Akihiko holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Nihon University College of Art and an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan College of Technology.
