Toya Are

Toya Are has over eight years of experience in educational leadership and teaching, currently serving as the Head of Primary & EYFS and Deputy Head Teacher at Cairo English School since August 2015. In this role, Toya Are successfully developed and implemented a rigorous curriculum and provided mentorship and training to staff, achieving high standards of learning for all pupils. Prior to this, Toya Are was a Class Teacher at Kingsgate Primary School from September 2012 to July 2015, specializing in teaching Years 2-6 and leading in the subject area of Computing. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Social Policy from the University of Nottingham, a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Education from Nottingham Trent University, and a National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership from UCL.
