Arvis Sulovari, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2020. From 2006-2007, they worked as a Webmaster and Teaching Assistant at Dartmouth College. Arvis then moved to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where they worked as a Research Assistant from 2007-2010. From 2010-2012, they were a Researcher Analyst in the laboratory of Dr. Jason Moore, Ph.D. Arvis then attended the University of Vermont from 2012-2017, where they were a Doctoral Student in the laboratory of Dr. Dawei Li, Ph.D. and a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2017, they became a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Evan Eichler, Ph.D. at the University of Washington - School of Medicine. Most recently, they are the Computational Genetics Lead (Senior Scientist) at Cajal Neuroscience, where their responsibilities include integrating large-scale datasets, prioritizing disease-causing genes, designing in vitro experiments, and managing a team of two scientists.
Arvis Sulovari, Ph.D. completed an International Baccalaureate from UWC Atlantic College in 2006, a Bachelor of Arts (A.B) in Biology, Computer Science, and pre-med from Dartmouth College in 2010, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Vermont in 2017. In June 2017, they obtained a Ph.D certification from the University of Vermont.
