Nick C.

Nick C. has worked in various roles since 2007, beginning with their role as Founder of Leavethembehind.com, a travel business for holidays with no children. In 2008, they became a Product Manager at Tripadvisor, followed by a Product Manager role at REA Group in 2004. From 2009 to 2012, they held the role of Head of User Experience at ASOS.com, followed by a Director of Product role at YOOX NET-A-PORTER. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Product Director at Redbubble, and Head of Digital Product at Greenlit Brands. In 2019, they became the Chief Product Officer at Smiling Mind, where they directed a global wellbeing app, edtech saas, mental health, psych product & programs, and built a mental health checkin with over 20 million global responses and development of a mental health index. Currently, they are the Chief Product Officer at Cake, where they are empowering startup teams to be motivated by their equity, and helping more global teams realize their vision by creating more owners who can re-invest in future startups.

Nick C. attended Melbourne Business School in 2015, completing a Leadership Program. Nick then attended Deakin University, where they obtained a B.Com in Finance/ Accounting, Marketing, and Technology. Nick also holds certifications from Google, the Scrum Alliance, and Scrum.org, including Google Cloud Platform Machine Learning Fundamentals (obtained in November 2020), Certified Scrum Practitioner/Master, and Certified Scrum Product Owner.
