Colin Botter

Colin Botter is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in transportation and utility engineering, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Cala Group Limited since March 2022. At Cala Group, Colin is responsible for identifying engineering strategies, providing support during planning and construction, managing consultants, and overseeing technical approvals and legal agreements. Prior experience includes a Senior Engineer role at Bloor Homes, focusing on utility procurement and environmental consents, as well as working at Swindon Borough Council where Colin reviewed highway designs and coordinated with local authorities and residents. Earlier roles include positions as a Highway Technician at BURO Happold Consulting Engineers Limited and as a Graduate Engineer at PFA Consulting Ltd. Colin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Plymouth, earned between 1994 and 1997.
