Miguel Castro Fernandes

Miguel Castro Fernandes is an experienced construction professional with a strong background in civil engineering, holding a Bachelor's degree from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa. Since July 2017, Miguel has served as Senior Technical Manager at CALA Group Limited, previously occupying the role of Technical Manager. Prior to this, Miguel worked at Persimmon Homes from May 2014 to June 2017 as Senior Technical Co-ordinator and Technical Co-ordinator / Principal Designer. Earlier experience includes positions as Site Manager at Galliford Try and DCHJ Construções, Lda., and Assistant Site Manager at MH Costa Construction. Miguel also has freelance experience as a Design Engineer and CDM co-ordinator, alongside training roles as a Trainee Site Manager and Trainee HSE Engineer.
