Tom Whistler - Tech-Iosh Aiema

Tom Whistler is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and training management, currently serving as Group HSE Training Manager at CALA Group Limited since September 2018. With previous roles including Training and Development Manager at Safety Services (UK) Limited and Red Cross Trainer, Tom has extensive experience in identifying training needs, designing programs, and ensuring compliance with safety legislation. Tom’s career also includes significant contributions as Training Co-Ordinator and HSES Consultant at Invenio Falkland Islands and as a Sergeant Training and Support for the Royal Falkland Islands Police, where responsibilities spanned training management and community education. Tom's foundational experience includes serving as a Royal Engineer in HM Forces and founding NBFones, the first independent mobile phone provider in the Falkland Islands. Educationally, Tom holds nine GCSEs from Acle High School.
