Edward Illingworth started their work experience in 2007 with Waterman Group, where they worked as a Work Placement in the building services department and Landscape Planning & Design team. Edward then had work placements at SELEX Galileo Inc. in 2010, where they assisted with testing and analysis, and at AECOM in the building design department in the same year, focusing on energy requirements and transferring modifications to blueprints.
In 2011, they had a work placement at Whitehill Spindle Tools Limited. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Groundskeeper at Harpenden Lawn Tennis Club.
Since 2016, they have been working at Calastone as an Operations Team Lead, responsible for the production technology systems, client on-boarding, and support to the QA team. Edward proactively monitors production services and provides first line support to customers.
Edward Illingworth attended Sir John Lawes School from 2004 to 2011, where they completed their high school education. In 2011, they enrolled at the University of Bristol and graduated in 2015 with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. As part of a study abroad program, they also attended Chalmers University of Technology from 2013 to 2014, focusing on Applied Mechanics.
