Tarun Julka

Tarun Julka has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Tarun is currently working as the Director of DevOps at Calastone since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the DevOps Team Lead at the same company from June 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Calastone, Tarun worked at Diligent Corporation, where they held various positions. Tarun started as a Technical Support Specialist in July 2012 and worked until December 2013. Tarun then served as a Production Systems Administrator from January 2014 to January 2019. Following that, they held the role of Senior Site Reliability Engineer from February 2019 to March 2021 and Lead Site Reliability Engineer from March 2021 to June 2021.

Tarun also gained experience at Apple Retail, where they worked as a Business Team/Mentor from May 2010 to June 2012. Additionally, they worked as a PC Engineer at Dixons Retail from November 2005 to April 2010.

Tarun Julka earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from De Montfort University, which they completed between 2006 and 2010. Tarun also obtained certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2020, ITIL Foundation from PEOPLECERT, MCSA: Cloud Platform and MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure from Microsoft, and Red Hat System Administration I and II from Red Hat. Additionally, they hold a Zabbix Certified Specialist certification from Zabbix.
