Alex Rapp has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1994 when they were a Promotions Manager at NECN. In 1999, they founded FilmBoston, and in 2003 they became an Equity Analyst and Assistant Portfolio Manager at a private investment partnership. From 2008 to 2011, they were an Analyst at Nokia Interactive. In 2011, they co-founded Calcbench, a next-generation financial data platform based in New York and Cambridge, MA.

Alex Rapp attended Questrom School of Business, Boston University from 2001-2003, where they earned an MBA. Prior to that, they attended Bates College from 1989-1993, where they earned a BS in Math and Computer Science.
