Mudith Uswatta

Mudith Uswatta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and management across various industries. Currently serving as the VP of Business Development at Calcey, Mudith focuses on driving business growth for a boutique software product engineering agency. Previous roles include General Manager and VP of Business Development, where responsibilities encompassed day-to-day management, growth strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Mudith has also contributed as the Marketing Forum Lead and General Council member for SLASSCOM, co-founded the social audio content platform Katha, and engaged in freelance writing for Echelon Magazine Sri Lanka. Additionally, Mudith’s career includes positions in marketing and product development at Saberion, stockbroking at Acuity Stockbrokers, and roles in GIZ and Saatchi & Saatchi. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Information Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Moratuwa and a BSc in Economics and Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
