Jennifer Arthurs is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in enhancing Calgary's profile as a key destination for business, talent, and investment. Currently serving as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at Calgary Economic Development since February 2016, Jennifer leads initiatives to position Calgary for long-term economic success. Previous roles at Calgary Economic Development include Interim Head of Marketing & Communications and Director of Marketing, where responsibilities spanned from strategic planning to multi-channel media campaigns. Prior to this, Jennifer operated as an independent consultant, delivering strategic advice and marketing services to various clients such as the Calgary Stampede. Earlier career highlights include positions at Bell Canada and TELUS, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Finance from the University of Saskatchewan.
