Emma Poole

Emma Poole has extensive experience in public affairs and media relations, currently serving as the Manager of the Public Affairs/Media Relations Unit at Calgary Police Service since March 2007. In previous roles at the same organization, Emma Poole held positions as Team Lead and Communications Strategist. Emma Poole's experience also includes serving as a Canadian Communications Advisor for the Support to Reform of Patrol Police in Ukraine Project with Global Affairs Canada from July 2015 to March 2018. Earlier in the career, Emma Poole was a reporter for Calgary Herald and Vancouver Province from 1998 to 2007. Emma Poole holds a Bachelor of Applied Communications in Journalism from Mount Royal University and has completed several specialized training programs in leadership and emergency management.
