Rachel Wade

Rachel Wade serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Employee Experience at Alberta Investment Management Corporation, a position held since October 2022. Additionally, Rachel holds a board membership with the Calgary Public Library Foundation and leads Including You Consulting, which focuses on enhancing diversity and inclusion. Previously, Rachel managed international Diversity & Inclusion initiatives at Parkland Corporation and served on several boards, including as President of the Board of Directors for the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society. Rachel has a strong background in communications and equity strategies, including a significant tenure at ATB Financial, where leadership in external equity strategy and the advancement of women in the workplace were key responsibilities. Rachel's educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Professional Communications, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Culture, and various certifications in public relations and intercultural coaching.
