Christine Thompson

Christine Thompson is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, and media relations. Currently serving as the Corporate Communications Manager at The Calgary Stampede since October 2021, Christine previously held roles as Communications Advisor and Corporate Communications Advisor within the organization and at Calgary Co-op. With a background in managing key client accounts and developing strategic communications plans, Christine has also worked as an Account Executive at ELEVATOR and as a Public Relations Account Manager at Aune Communications. Notable responsibilities include leading media accounts, crafting pitches for various clients, and executing public relations campaigns. Christine holds a Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations from Mount Royal University and has foundational training in English from the University of Calgary.
