He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and excels in management, strategic planning, client relations, and team building. Dr. Travis has worked more than 24 years as a business leader and is currently CEO of the rapidly expanding life science company, Calibre Scientific.

As Calibre Scientific CEO, Dr. Travis has professionalized and streamlined more than 10 small product lines and businesses into one, multidimensional company. Under his supervision, Calibre Scientific has experience 800% combined M&A and organic growth over the past five years, and organic growth alone has been 3-10% annually for each Calibre Scientific business.

Presently, Calibre Scientific operates in eight global locations and with an overarching corporate strategy of growth through acquisition. Dr. Travis is actively involved in all mergers and acquisitions, from initial due diligence and analysis to final transactions and careful integration of new businesses and cultures into the Calibre Scientific family. He has developed and implemented transition plans for key business operations tailored to each acquisition, allowing the newly acquired businesses to begin participating in and contributing to other Calibre Scientific business initiatives within the first 90 day period. These custom transition plans have enabled the sharing of best practices between all Calibre Scientific businesses, old and new.
