John Sevier

Program Analyst at CALIBRE Systems

John Sevier has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Program Analyst at CALIBRE Systems, Inc. John has also served in various roles in the United States Air Force, including Chief of Mission Support Inspections, where they led a team of inspectors in evaluating combat capability for multiple units. As the 647 Air Base Group Deputy Commander, they oversaw mission support for HQ Pacific Air Forces and managed personnel and assets at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. John also worked as the Chief of Foundation Branch for Strategic Planning and Integration, directly supporting the Chief of Staff of the Air Force in strategy development. Additionally, they served as Commander of the 39 Civil Engineer Squadron, where they provided emergency management, explosive ordnance disposal, fire fighting, and environmental services. John has experience in joint basing efforts and was responsible for managing the integration of US Marine Corps operations to Guam. Furthermore, they worked as a Base Civil Engineer for JTF-Bravo and as an NAOC Consequence Assessment Engineer for USSTRATCOM, analyzing the effects of weapons of mass destruction and natural disasters. Overall, John Sevier has demonstrated leadership, planning, and analytical skills throughout their career.

John Sevier earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design/Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder in the years 1993 to 1997. John then went on to pursue a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma, which they completed from 2002 to 2005. More recently, John obtained a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Georgetown University, graduating between 2020 and 2022.
