Tian-quan Cai

I work closely with Calico’s basic research scientists and late-stage project teams to design and oversee in vivo studies conducted at Contract Research Organizations (CROs) or our external collaborators.

Prior to joining Calico, I was at United Therapeutics, leading translational studies for regenerative medicine related discoveries. Prior to that, I worked at Merck Research Laboratories for over 20 years, served as principal scientist for preclinical discovery, external collaboration lead and director of in vivo pharmacology, and gained extensive experience in drug discovery across several therapeutic areas..
