Ella Rosenbloom has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ella currently holds the position of VP Sustainability at Califia Farms starting from December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Sustainability Strategy Consultant from June 2020 to November 2021. Ella has also worked at Clif Bar & Company, where they held various roles including Director of Strategic Sourcing (November 2016 to March 2020), Sr. Manager of Sustainable Sourcing and Packaging (June 2015 to October 2016), Sr. Manager of Sustainable Sourcing, Food Supply (August 2013 to May 2015), and Sustainable Food Systems Manager (May 2010 to July 2013).
Before their time at Clif Bar & Company, Ella served as the Executive Director of the World of Good Development Organization from October 2008 to May 2010. Ella also worked at eBay as the Business Development Director for World of Good from February 2007 to October 2008. Prior to that, they held the position of Category Manager for Chocolate & Cocoa at Fair Trade USA from June 2005 to February 2007.
Ella's earlier experience includes working as a Foodservice Business Consultant at the University of Georgia from June 2002 to June 2003. Ella also co-founded and served as the President of Big City Bread from March 1997 to April 2002.
Ella Rosenbloom earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology and Spanish from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1987 to 1991. Ella later pursued their Master of Arts degree in Planning and Economic Development at Cornell University from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Ella obtained certifications in Convergent Facilitation from Bay Area Nonviolent Communication (BayNVC) in February 2019 and in Strategic Decision and Risk Management from Stanford in January 2014.
