Sara Geer

Sara Geer has a wealth of experience in finance, accounting, and administration. Sara currently works as the Associate Director of Finance and Administration at the Almond Board of California, having joined the company in 2016. Prior to this, they held various roles within the organization, including Senior Manager of Accounting and Administration and Manager of Finance and Administration.

Before joining the Almond Board of California, Sara owned and operated Geer Tax Services, where they worked as an Enrolled Agent from 2014 to 2018. Sara also served as the Supervisor of Accounting Services for the City of Oakdale from 2013 to 2016.

Sara's career in accounting began in 2004 when they owned and operated their own tax office. Sara later worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Clendenin, Bird & Co., PC from 2007 to 2013. In that role, they handled tax preparation and planning for clients, conducted audits, and managed accounting and reporting for political clients.

Sara Geer earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from California State University, Stanislaus. Sara attended the university from 2001 to 2005. Moreover, Sara has obtained two additional certifications: "Activating Culture to Produce Results and Connection in the New Remote Work Environment" from LinkedIn in March 2023, and "Communicating in Times of Change" from LinkedIn in February 2023.
