Rokhsane Hovaida

Rokhsane Hovaida is an experienced museum and gallery professional with a diverse background in curatorial practices, exhibition management, and visitor engagement. Currently serving as Museum Manager at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido since March 2023, Rokhsane has previously held roles such as Curatorial Fellow at Prospect Art and Visitor Experience Assistant Manager at Mingei International Museum. Additional experience includes positions at Los Angeles Modern Auctions as Registrar, Chateau Shatto as Gallery Manager, and Gavlak Gallery as Exhibitions Coordinator/Registrar. Rokhsane has also contributed as an Exhibitions Researcher at Whitechapel Gallery and a Gallery Assistant at Laura Bartlett Gallery. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Curating the Contemporary from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) and Art (Art History) from San Diego State University.
