Virginia Hedrick is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience in leadership and policy development within Native American health organizations. Currently serving as Executive Director at the California Consortium for Urban Indian Health since January 2017, Virginia previously held roles as Director of Policy and Planning. Prior experience includes the California Rural Indian Health Board, where Virginia worked from July 2007 to January 2017 in multiple positions, including Program Coordinator and Associate Health Policy Analyst. Virginia began a career in public health as an NAGPRA Intern with the Yurok Tribe from June 2004 to June 2007, focusing on collection inventory and support for museum collections. Virginia holds a Master of Public Health from Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health and a Graduate Certificate in Maternal Health Epidemiology from the University of Arizona, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Native American Studies from UCLA.
