Paul Jones

Paul Jones has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Paul began their career at Charles Schwab as a Team Manager and later became the Manager for Access Control and Control Support Services. Paul then worked at Bank of the West as an AVP for Treasury Operations.

In 2004, Paul joined Contra Costa Search & Rescue as a Member, where they received training to assist the community in times of need, such as search missions or disaster support. Paul later became a Volunteer Fiscal Control Manager for the organization, overseeing financial records, fundraising, budgeting, and annual report creation.

From 2017 to 2018, Paul worked at Stem to Stern LLC as an Office Manager, responsible for staff management, project scheduling, budgeting, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.

In 2018, Paul joined the Family Violence Appellate Project as the Finance and Administration Manager, with responsibilities including financial management, grants management, and operations/administration. Paul played a crucial role in ensuring financial compliance, managing grant requirements, and implementing efficient systems.

Most recently, Paul joined the California Housing Partnership in 2022 as a Finance Manager, where they are responsible for financial operations within the organization.

Paul Jones attended San Jose State University from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Communication. Prior to that, they studied at Northern Arizona University from 1988 to 1991, specializing in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Paul completed their high school education at De La Salle High School from 1986 to 1988. Additionally, in 2008, they pursued an Independent Study Program in Emergency Management at the Emergency Management Institute, affiliated with FEMA.
