Siera Beal has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Assistant Project Manager at RLJ Lodging Trust. In this role, they gained experience in project management. In 2011, they joined NBC Universal as a Digital Distribution Summer Associate, where they curated film programming packages and conducted analysis on box office performance and digital sales. From 2012 to 2019, Siera served as the Vice President of Hospitality Debt & Structured Finance at CBRE, where they focused on financial and structured analysis. In 2020, they became a Program Officer at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), where they financed affordable housing and spearheaded a down payment assistance program for Black, first-time homebuyers. Currently, Siera is working at California Housing Partnership, providing housing finance consulting and assisting non-profit developers with financial and regulatory analysis.
Siera Beal completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration at Cornell University from 2003 to 2007. In 2006, they also pursued studies in Film, History, and Spanish at Universitat Pompeu Fabra for one year. Later on, from 2010 to 2012, Siera Beal furthered their education by earning an MBA degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
