Julie R. Dargis

Julie R. Dargis, PhD, is an accomplished academic and international development professional currently serving as Core Faculty and Secretary of the Faculty Senate at the California Institute for Human Science since September 2020. Dargis has extensive experience in emergency programming, partnership development, and capacity building, having held key positions such as Director of Development and Partnerships for One Heart Worldwide and Senior Advisor for Global COVID-19 Response at CORE Group. Previous roles include Emergency Specialist at UNICEF, Senior Management & Organizational Learning Advisor as a freelancer, and various leadership positions within organizations like the American Refugee Committee and International Rescue Committee. Dargis holds a Ph.D. in Integral Health from the California Institute for Human Science and an M.A. in International Education and Business from The George Washington University.
