Kiara Brown

Kiara Brown is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in organizational leadership and board governance. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and Director of Board Governance and Relations at the California Institute of the Arts since November 2019, Kiara has previously held various roles at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County from January 2013 to November 2019, including Special Assistant for Community & External Relations and Coordinator for Board Services. Duties involved managing communication between the Board of Trustees and the Executive Office, as well as assisting in fundraising efforts. Additional past experience includes roles as an Editorial Intern at SurfMyAds.com, Project Manager at Berbere World Imports, Front Desk Representative at 24 Hour Fitness, and Marketing Associate at Red Bull North America. Kiara holds a degree in English Literature from San Francisco State University, earned in 2012.
