Elizabeth Vermilyea

Elizabeth Vermilyea, PhD, currently serves as the Deputy Director at the Child Parent Institute, overseeing trauma-informed and trauma-focused program development while collaborating with community partners. With extensive experience in trauma-related consulting and education, Vermilyea provides training and technical assistance consulting for OVC TTAC, and has been an owner of Traumatic Stress Recovery Consulting since 2006. Additionally, Vermilyea has held faculty positions for trauma certificate programs at Portland State University and the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Prior roles include Director of Personnel at Bayberry, Inc., and various positions at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, focusing on patient care coordination and outreach.
