Emily Shipman

Director Of Health Center Optimization at California Primary Care Association

Emily Shipman has a diverse work experience ranging from administrative roles to director-level positions. Emily began their career as an Intern under a Homeless Patient Case Manager at Shasta Community Health Center in 2009. In 2012, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at the California Assisted Living Association before joining the Sacramento State Alumni Association as an Office Assistant in 2008. In 2014, they joined the California Primary Care Association and held various roles including Senior Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, Senior Program Coordinator, and Associate Director of Health Center Operations. Emily then progressed to Assistant Director of Health Center Operations in 2020 and currently holds the position of Deputy Director of Health Center Operations.

Emily Shipman completed their education with a Masters of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Community Development from National University, which they pursued from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with a focus on International Relations from California State University-Sacramento from 2008 to 2011. In 2009 and 2010, Emily also studied Government with a specialization in International Relations at Corvinus University of Budapest.
