Lindsey Freitas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Anne Mitchell, MS, CPA until 2007. Following that, they served as a Legislative Assistant at the Association of Regional Center Agencies from 2007 to 2008. Then, they joined the California Professional Firefighters as a Governmental Affairs Specialist from 2008 to 2012. Afterward, Lindsey worked at the American Lung Association in California as a Policy Manager from 2012 to 2014. Simultaneously, they also worked as the Manager of Grassroots Advocacy at the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues from May 2014 to November 2014. Lindsey then transitioned to a Senior Director role at the American Lung Association in California, where they worked from November 2014 to August 2019. From August 2019 to June 2023, they held the position of Regional Advocacy Director at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. Currently, Lindsey is working as the Vice President of Civic Engagement & Community Outreach at the California Primary Care Association since June 2023.
Lindsey Freitas pursued higher education in the field of public administrations and politics, economics. From 2010 to 2012, they attended the University of Southern California, completing a Masters degree in Public Administrations. Prior to that, Lindsey attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelors degree in Politics and Economics.
