Bill Roby

Bill Roby is an experienced oil and gas professional with a diverse background in leadership and operations. Currently serving as a Board Member for California Resources Corporation and Vermilion Energy, Bill also chairs the Reserves Committee and participates in the HSE Committee at Vermilion Energy. Previously, Bill held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Sheridan Production Company, LLC, and spent over a decade with Occidental, concluding as SVP of Worldwide Operations and Engineering. Bill’s extensive experience includes leadership roles at Altura Energy and Shell, where various leadership and engineering positions were held. Bill Roby earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
