Carol Brydolf

Carol Brydolf has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as a writer/editor for the California School Boards Association since January 1996. In this role, Carol reports and writes daily news stories, in-depth features, and analyses for the organization’s communications, including newsletters and a quarterly magazine. Previously, Carol held the position of acting managing editor at CSBA and worked as a writer for The Berkeleyan at the University of California, Berkeley. Carol's early career includes over a decade as a reporter for the Oakland Tribune, focusing on civil courts, local government, and business reporting. Carol holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in English from Oberlin College.
