Shellie Troutman

Shellie Troutman is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School Teacher at California Virtual Academies since November 2017. Previously, Troutman completed two full-time student teaching assignments in 2nd and 4th grade at Sierra Vista Elementary School with the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. In addition to teaching, Troutman has worked as a part-time teacher and assistant teacher at The Arbor Learning Community, designing a differentiated curriculum for a literature and history class, and as an academic tutor with Oxford Tutoring. Earlier work experience includes a sales associate role at Toys R Us. Troutman holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from National University, along with an Associate's degree in Medical/Clinical Assistance from Cerritos College.
