Taylor Hickam

Taylor Hickam is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently a first grade teacher at California Virtual Academies, Taylor specializes in online small group lessons. Previous roles include kindergarten teacher at Growth Public Schools, where responsibilities involved curriculum development and participation in project-based learning conferences, and student teacher at Natomas Charter School- Star Academy, focusing on lesson implementation in alignment with California State Standards. Taylor's experience also includes tutoring K-12 students with ABC Private Tutoring, serving as a student assistant at Fresno Pacific University, and interning at a tutoring center in Costa Rica. Taylor holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the University of California, Davis, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Fresno Pacific University.
