Adeline Fermanian

Adeline Fermanian has a diverse work experience in the field of research and data science. Adeline'smost recent position was as a Machine Learning Researcher at Califrais, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Mines Paris from November 2021 to November 2022. Before that, they had a research internship at Inria, where they studied mathematical models of division of bacteria. This internship took place from February 2017 to July 2017. Adeline also had a 6-month internship at SAP, where they worked as a Data Scientist Intern. During this internship, they built machine learning algorithms for salary prediction and studied natural language processing for job ads classification and normalization. This internship took place from August 2016 to January 2017.

Adeline Fermanian started their education by obtaining a Scientific Baccalaureate from Lycée Condorcet in the years 2009 to 2012. Afterwards, they attended Lycée Henri 4 from 2012 to 2014, focusing on Mathématiques et Physique. Adeline then pursued their higher education at CentraleSupélec from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2018, they studied for an MSc in Statistics at ETH Zürich. Adeline Fermanian further pursued their academic journey by enrolling at Sorbonne Université, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics, completing their degree from 2018 to 2021.
