Kevin Godfrey has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Kevin started their career as an Applications Engineer at Motorola Semiconductor in 1989, providing technical design support for communications processors and working on hardware design and low-level software development. Kevin later moved on to Cadence Design Systems in 1998 as a Systems Design Engineer, where they were involved in communications IC and system design, project management, and team leadership.
In 2003, Kevin joined Broadcom as a Networking Field Applications Engineer, supporting European customers in Ethernet system design and working on pre-sales, product qualification tests, and low-level software development. Kevin also supported DSL design with customers throughout Europe and collaborated with network operators for DSL gateway deployments.
From 2016 to 2018, Kevin worked at Calnex Solutions as a Senior Applications Engineer, supporting network synchronization test equipment and providing first-line support for European equipment manufacturers and network operators. Kevin was an active member of the team supporting worldwide customers. Kevin later returned to Calnex Solutions in 2022 as an Application Support Engineer, focusing on network synchronization test equipment for the IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol.
In 2018, Kevin briefly worked at Cirrus Logic as a Principal Applications Engineer, where they provided customer support and applications engineering for audio and haptic products. Kevin also developed Python scripts for device and system configuration and designed and debugged demo boards.
Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated expertise in hardware design, software development, system architecture, project management, and customer support in the field of communications technology.
