Rogerio Lopes

Rogerio Lopes has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rogerio currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Calor Gas Ltd, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, Rogerio worked as the Chairman of the Board at Sistema Apoio since March 2017. Rogerio also worked as an Executive Director at Supergasbras Energia Ltda from November 2019 to September 2022. Rogerio's experience also includes serving as a Non-Executive Board Member at FCJ Triângulo - Venture Builder from August 2018 to September 2022.

In their earlier years, Rogerio held various positions at Nestlé Brasil, including Managing Director/CEO, Beverages Business Director, Corporate Business Portfolio Strategist, M&A and Corporate Strategy Manager, and Operations Strategy Manager. Rogerio was instrumental in leading the restructuring and turnaround of the business and played a key role in the creation of Froneri Brazil, a spin-off of the ice cream division.

Additionally, Rogerio completed an MBA International Business Project at Mastercard in 2005 and an internship at Deutsche Post in 2004. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations Manager and a Research and Development Manager at Saint-Gobain from 1998 to 2003.

Rogerio Lopes has a strong educational background in various fields. Rogerio started their education journey in 1989 at Instituto Militar de Engenharia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1989 to 1991. Rogerio continued their studies at Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1992 to 1993. Rogerio further pursued their education at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, where they completed a Doctorate in Energy Engineering from 1994 to 1998.

In the field of business administration and management, Rogerio obtained an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, specializing in Business Administration and Management, from 2003 to 2005. Later, in 2008, they attended the London Business School for executive training in Mergers & Acquisitions, focusing on Finance, General. Finally, in 2014 to 2016, Rogerio participated in the PED - Program for Executive Development at IMD, with a concentration in Business Administration and Management.
