Alvin Singh

Alvin Singh, MIS, has extensive experience in IT management, currently serving as the IT Client Services Section Manager at CalSTRS since April 2014. In this role, Alvin oversees multiple teams, including Client Technology Services and Audiovisual Services, ensuring the operational readiness of business technology systems. Previously, Alvin held various positions at CalSTRS, including System and Security Administration Manager and Project Manager, where responsibilities included directing staff, managing project life cycles, and developing business cases. Prior to CalSTRS, Alvin worked as an IT Specialist at Apollo Group and held technology roles at University of Phoenix and Washington Unified School District. Alvin holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Management from the University of Phoenix, along with an Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology.
