Vaishali Dwarka

Vaishali Dwarka has held various roles and positions throughout their work experience. Vaishali currently serves as the Director of Enterprise Strategy Management at CalSTRS, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they were the Interim Director of Enterprise Strategy Management at the same company from May 2021 to April 2022. From January 2019 to May 2021, they worked as a Senior Manager on the Continuous Improvement Team at CalSTRS, and from April 2016 to December 2018, they were the Manager of the same team. Their earliest role at CalSTRS was as a Senior Business Process Specialist on the Continuous Improvement Team, a position they held from October 2013 to March 2016.

In addition to their roles at CalSTRS, Vaishali has also served as an Advisory Board Member at Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises since July 2023 and at CEM Benchmarking Inc. since May 2021. Prior to joining CalSTRS, they worked at CalPERS in various roles, including Senior Risk Intelligence Specialist and Senior Management Consultant. Their career began at Kanbay International Consulting, where they worked as a Senior Strategic Business Consultant from January 1999 to August 2001.
