Edgardo Lugo

Edgardo Lugo, M.S., LCSW-R, RPT-S, CGP, currently serves as the Director of Bereavement at Calvary Hospital since October 2022. Previously, Edgardo held the position of Program Director of the Center for Counseling at the Institute for Family Health, overseeing a New York State Office of Mental Health Article 31 clinic from December 2017 to October 2022. Edgardo's extensive experience includes serving as the Director of Clinical Services at Harlem United; Assistant Director and Assistant Clinic Manager at the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Counseling Clinic for Federation Employment and Guidance Services; Clinic Director and Assistant Clinical Director at the University Settlement Society of New York; and Administrative Supervisor/Therapist and Clinical Social Work Supervisor at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services. Edgardo's career began as a Developmental Specialist/Treatment Coordinator at FEGS from 1986 to 1989. Edgardo holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service and a Master of Science in Counseling from Iona College Graduate School of Pastoral Counseling.
