George Kropp

George Kropp has extensive work experience in the electrical industry. George started their career in 1993 as the President/Owner of GWK, Inc., where they managed all aspects of an electrical contracting company. George then worked as a Project Manager at Sunland Electric in 2002, overseeing staff and ensuring project progress. From 2002 to 2005, George worked as an Electrical Inspector at Broward County Building Code Services Division, conducting inspections and issuing notices of violations. George then joined the School Board of Broward County as an Electrical Inspector/Plans Examiner, where they conducted inspections and reviewed plans for compliance. In 2011, George became a Chief Electrical Inspector at Calvin-Giordano & Associates, Inc., responsible for reviewing plans and conducting inspections in West Park and Pembroke Pines, FL. George later joined Calvin, Giordano & Associates as the Chief Electrical Inspector/Plans Examiner in 2014, where they reviewed electrical plans and conducted inspections in Deerfield Beach, FL. In 2017, they were promoted to Building Official, a role they held until September 2021.
