Darren Hemsing

Darren Hemsing is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in automation and engineering management. Currently serving as a Partner and EIC Engineering Manager at Calworx Projects since October 2023, Hemsing focuses on fostering client partnerships for long-term success. As Co-Founder and Vice President of River Rook Software since April 2017, innovative software products have been developed for industry leaders. Previously, Hemsing held various leadership roles at JMP Solutions from June 2019 to October 2023, including Branch Manager and Automation Manager, overseeing business operations, strategy, and team development. Hemsing founded Hi-Def Controls Ltd. in 2007, growing the company significantly before its merger with JMP. Hemsing's career also includes roles at Upside Engineering Ltd., CH2M HILL, Yokogawa Canada Inc., VECO Engineering, Pronghorn Controls, and Sabre Instrument Services, complementing a solid educational foundation in Industrial Instrumentation Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
