In 2018, Dan Duffy joined Camargo Pharmaceutical Services as chief executive officer. With a people-centered leadership style, Duffy’s focus is on establishing Camargo as the preferred global partner for drug development and commercialization of enhanced and complex therapeutics to serve patients in need with a focus on better outcomes for all stakeholders.
Prior to Camargo, Duffy served as chief business development officer of Biologics Specialty Pharmacy, leading all commercial operations for the company. In 2016, Duffy played a key role in the acquisition of Biologics by McKesson Corporation. A driving force behind integration activities to unite the two organizations, Duffy went on to lead McKesson Specialty Pharmacy Solutions. Under his leadership, McKesson formed a differentiated specialty pharmacy model with Centers of Excellence for commercial specialty pharmacy solutions in oncology, neurology and complex care, patient assistance programs and clinical research services.
In addition to executive leadership in healthcare, Duffy has served in a variety of industries and held leadership roles in operations, corporate finance, strategic planning, business development, and mergers and acquisitions. He currently serves as an advisor for the Duke Eye Center, part of the Duke University Health System, as well as was with several high-growth early-stage healthcare and social entrepreneurship companies.
Duffy holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University. He lives in Chapel Hill, NC with his wife and four daughters.
