Oksana Schaeffer

Oksana Schaeffer is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and system architecture. Currently serving as Senior Tech Lead at Cambium Assessment since September 2012, Oksana has been instrumental in developing backend architecture for an online K-12 assessment system, ensuring high availability and performance in distributed systems. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Software Engineer at Sensors for Medicine & Science, Inc., where Oksana led the development of a groundbreaking implantable glucose monitoring sensor system, and a position at NIST, contributing to software for nuclear reactor instrumentation. Oksana's academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and a Master's in Computer Science from Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, complemented by a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics from National Taras Shevchenko University in Kiev.
