Sandra Figueroa

Sandra Figueroa currently serves as a Math Item Writer at Cambium Assessment since March 2022. Prior to this role, Sandra was a teacher in the Palm Beach County School District from September 2018 to March 2022, focusing on second-grade education, ESOL small group interventions, and teaching math and science in third and fifth grades. Sandra has also contributed as a Learning Assistant at Florida International University from June 2012 to December 2019, providing tutoring and grading for various math courses. Additional experiences include working as a Sales Associate at Vera Bradley, where customer service and visual merchandising were highlighted, and as a Camp Counselor at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, directing classroom activities for young children. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Florida International University and has also completed a MicroMasters in Project Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Educational pursuits continue at Université catholique de l'Ouest.
