Anita Korchemniy

Anita Korchemniy is a Materials and Process Engineer at Cambium since July 2023. Previously, Anita worked as a Senior Capstone Team Member at the University of Washington Materials Science & Engineering from October 2021 to June 2023, where investigations focused on the structural effects of moisture ingression on aramid core in collaboration with Boeing, and a novel manufacturing method for honeycomb composites was designed. Additionally, as a Composites Research Assistant, Anita contributed to a carbon fiber recycling project. Earlier experience includes being part of the Composite Manufacturing Team at UWashington Formula Motorsports from October 2019 to June 2020, where designs and manufacturing of various components for vehicle aerodynamics were executed using Solidworks and resources in the UW composites lab. Anita holds a degree from the University of Washington, earned between 2019 and 2023, and graduated from Auburn Mountainview High School in 2019.
